Basketball skill development training is a big part of the MWA culture. Many developing players have their own trainer and train outside of practice. Basketball is a skill set game and players must always look to improve fundamental skills outside of practice and games. Below you will find three different training options for players.
1. PRIME Traing-high level training for more advanced players
2. Enhanced Shooting Techniques-Focused on improving shooting the basketball

The 3-day skill development program is designed to enhance players strengths and weaknesses. The program will include working on all aspects of a player’s game. Players will enhance their basketball IQ to apply in game situations. Prime Athletic Development workouts will be highly intense and very competitive. The goal is to see players progress through the program with a renewed confidence and better feel for the games.

My individual training philosophy is focused on improving shooting the basketball. Every player that trains with me will get a full evaluation on their shot and a plan for improvement. There is an extra emphasis on footwork and building a strong foundation for shooting consistency. My goal for each student I work with is to have them master the basics and build their shot into a natural movement that requires little thinking when they play in a game situation.
Individual training would be $25 per hour and group training (groups of 3) would be $15 per student. Please call Joel for more info or to register for a shooting session.
